![]() ![]() Even though they Didn't have much scenes together, it was wonderful. The connection between the Narwhal and Emily was so awesome. Though I have to mention that the signs were there since his first scene in this book. Archie's betrayal was so fantastically executed. The idea was really creative and Neptune having a twin was something none of us saw coming. The chemistry and tension between Aaron and Emily was great as always. The scene where Njode is frozen into a mountain was way too rushed and took away all of the excitement the story had built. Who is he? A teenage girl on her period who has constant mood swings? His character was so temperamental and gullible that I just couldn't stop thinking that how is he even the KING OF THE OCEAN when he is so stupid. This book/series ha ruined all impressions of Neptune for me. Seth and Shona barely exchanged a few words and they are heads over heels for each other. Shona swam all the way just to tell Emily about the Shellphone call that she received from Neptune however, the irony is that she forgot the phone itself! Are you kidding me? We know that Millie has sudden outbursts of truths but why do you have to mention it in like every other chapter? Everything is okay but Aaron's response to Emily's anger/disappointment was really upsetting. In every book, Emily comes to believe that Beeston is a good person but in the next book she is back to hating him. Aaron is a descendent of Neptune as far as I can remember so why isn't he considered His family/why can't he touch the tears. The first thing is that I believe this series would've been much better if the characters had been a little more mature/older and not so stupid. Anyways let me just write all of my discontentments from this book: The writing was very, um, so-so and repetitive as well. The plot was great but had a lot of loopholes in it. I'm not sure what I feel about this book. ![]()
